Something for your mind
The rest of this site is about being exact when it matters. This page is for being exact when it matters not at all. Six small games. The only record kept is your own best, and it never leaves your browser.
01The Eye
All gamesFive rounds, one attempt each: a midpoint, a centre, three seconds, a circle, ten seconds. You estimate, the page measures, the gap is the score. The pointing rounds need a mouse, touch or stylus.
02Steady Hand
All gamesRest your pointer on the brass pad, then follow the wire to the ring without touching the edges of the channel. Three lives. Touches cost three seconds each. On a phone, trace with your finger and the channel is a little kinder. This one needs a mouse, touch or stylus.
03Snake
All gamesArrow keys or WASD. On a phone, swipe anywhere on the board. Walls are walls.
06Data entry
All gamesSixteen digits, typed exactly as shown. The clock starts on your first keystroke and stops on the sixteenth. Only clean runs make the record, because speed without accuracy is noise.
04Lights out
All gamesPress a cell and it flips with its four neighbours. Put every light out. A new board is set each day, the same board for everyone.
05Odometer
All gamesThree reels roll at different speeds. Stop them one at a time, left to right, and land the target reading. Nearest digit counts against you.
